Ideas for Setting the Christmas Table

A Christmas Tradition at our church is called “Prepare Him Room.” This year, the theme was JOY! When I think of JOY, this acronym comes to mind:

  • J esus First
  • O thers Second
  • Y ourself last

For me, Prepare Him Room is such an incredible ladies church event, that it has become an annual mother-daughter special time together.

Walking into the gorgeous room, the many round tables with exquisite Christmas table decorations and settings, will absolutely take your breath away.

I have posted many of these incredible Christmas table decorations. Enjoy~

Table Setting 9 “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:8-11

JOYAs I grow older, my Christmas list grows smaller, because what matters in my life cannot be bought. We are traveling to visit family for Christmas, so I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!  JOY to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth receive her KING! Let every heart prepare HIM room…

Melody, I like those table decorations also. I think my daughter-in-law would go for the woodsy table setting. We decorated in blue lights when I was a child, so I am a bit sentimental about blue. Merry Christmas to you too.
